The short version
- More than 48 hours before the event: you get a credit for a future event.
- Within 48 hours of the event: tickets are non-refundable and non-creditable.
- If we cancel: you get a full refund within 5 business days.
- Can't make it? Send a friend instead — just tell us first.
Cancellations by you
If you can no longer attend an event, please let us know as early as possible by emailing hello@czechexpatclub.com.
- More than 48 hours before the start time: we'll issue you a credit (equal to the ticket price) you can use for any future Expat Club event within 12 months. This is a credit, not a cash refund.
- Within 48 hours of the start time: tickets are non-refundable. We've already paid for the venue, the food, the wine, and the people making it happen.
Cancellations by us
If we cancel an event for any reason, you'll receive a full refund to your original payment method within 5 business days. We'll always contact you directly to let you know.
Transferring your ticket
Tickets can be transferred to another person, no problem. Just email us at hello@czechexpatclub.com with the new attendee's name and email before the event starts so we can update the guest list.
Force majeure
If circumstances beyond our reasonable control — natural disasters, government restrictions, public health emergencies, infrastructure failures, the world ending — prevent us from running an event, we'll do our absolute best to reschedule or offer a credit. Cash refunds in these cases are at our discretion based on costs already incurred.
Members-only events
Free events for members generally don't require refunds, but please always cancel your RSVP if you can't make it. Guest lists are finite and someone else would love your spot.
