What's a cookie, again?
A cookie is a tiny file your browser stores when you visit a site. It helps the site remember things — like the fact that you're logged in.
What we use
Essential cookies
These keep the site working. They remember your login session, keep your account secure, and store basic preferences like whether you've dismissed the cookie banner. We can't turn these off — without them the site simply doesn't function.
Analytics cookies
We use lightweight, privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages people actually visit and where things break. We don't track you across other websites and we don't build advertising profiles.
What we don't use
- We don't use advertising cookies.
- We don't sell your data to third parties.
- We don't track you across the wider internet.
- We don't use creepy fingerprinting techniques.
How to manage cookies
You can control or delete cookies any time through your browser settings. Most browsers also let you block cookies from specific sites. Here are the help pages for the popular ones:
Heads up: if you block essential cookies, parts of the site won't work properly (you won't be able to log in, for example).
