1. Who can join
Membership is open to anyone aged 18 or over who wants to be part of a respectful, curious international community in Prague. By signing up you confirm you're old enough and that you're a real human, not a bot running someone's growth experiment.
2. How to be a member
The Club runs on goodwill. We ask members to:
- Be kind. Treat other members the way you'd like to be treated.
- No spam, no cold-pitching the directory, no recruitment funnels.
- No harassment, hate speech, or discrimination of any kind.
- Respect privacy — what's shared in the Club stays in the Club.
- Use real information when you register.
3. Our right to step in
If a member behaves in a way that harms the community, we reserve the right to issue a warning, restrict access, or remove the account — with no refund. We try to be fair and proportionate, but we will always choose the community over any single person.
4. Events and tickets
Some events are free, some are paid, some are members-only. Tickets are personal and governed by our Event Cancellation Policy. By attending you agree to follow any house rules of the venue and to behave in line with these terms.
5. Intellectual property
The content we publish — articles, photos, illustrations, the brand, the site itself — belongs to Experiment s.r.o. or our contributors. Please don't republish it without asking. Member-generated content (your profile, posts, forum questions) stays yours; you grant us permission to display it on the platform.
6. Limitation of liability
We do our best to keep the Club running smoothly and the information on the site accurate, but we provide the service "as is". To the extent permitted by law, Experiment s.r.o. is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the platform or attendance at events. Nothing in these terms limits liability we cannot legally exclude.
7. Account closure
You can leave the Club at any time from your account settings, or by emailing hello@czechexpatclub.com. We may also close inactive accounts after extended periods of silence.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Any disputes will be handled by the competent Czech courts.
9. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll post the new version here and let members know by email for anything material.
